About Us

Hello! My name is Ashley and I am the owner of The Knotty Dood. I currently live in Colorado with my husband, 3 dogs and 1 cat. If we're not adventuring in the mountains, then you can find us playing video games or watching thrillers.

I started crocheting when I was a little kid after my grandma taught me how. I was HORRIBLE at it. I did it from time to time for fun, but was always embarrassed of my projects. Fast forward to being an adult, and it finally clicked. The rest is history!

Why The Knotty Dood? Well this business is inspired by my love of crocheting, making knotty jokes, and of course my two bernedoodles, Gatsby & Banjo. We launched February 2024 and are so excited to see how much we can grow!
